Looking for a good restaurant for an evening meal traditional/good pub food. Mid July (12 person requiring to be fed)
Any locals to that area recommend anything, would like to avoid the usal chain stuff.

Cafe Breizh is the best restaurant in Perth IME
Excellent French cooking and a great atmosphere.
Avoid lets eat and the bothy. 63 Tay St is a bit meh IMHO - plenty do like it though.
Sante (owned by same folk as Breizh) is also worth a shout.

Italian in George st is ok and Pigall next to salutation hotel in south st is good if you like rustic french food owned by the same people as Sante and Breizh which are both good
