After spending another wad of cash on CDs I have decided to drag myslef kicking and screaming into this century and start downloading music for my Ipod / PC.
What are good sites for this? I dont mind paying a bit and would rather a monthly fee than pay per track (free is obviously also good).
I looked at Spotify but I think thats only for streaming and you cant actually download the tracks for use on Ipod etc, could be wrong though.
Thanks

looks like you might be able to use offline mode (in premium version - 10 squid/month) for the iPod or buy the tracks from spotify
I use the 5 quid a month spotify service to listen to stuff I haven't heard and if I find something I like often hunt down the 2nd hand CD from eBay or Amazon.. then rip to mp3 using EAC
Obviously nowhere illegal, iTunes will do the job.
I use Amazon and it works well - cheaper than iTunes too.
thanks for the spotify info, didnt realise they did that
7Digital and Amazon can be quite good for downloads, plus iTunes of course..
I use TuneChecker to find the cheapest..
