Am I right in discovering that the door hinges holes are NOT symmetrically distanced, specifically the middle *damn one.

I would like to meet in person the cretin who decided that little gem and show them my frozen sausage collection.

Aargh.

*my real choice of words was much more fruity than that, I can tell you.

I’ve only got one long enough for three hinges and it looks pretty symmetrical to me.

A bit of an assumption to make...they'd space it to accommodate shelves etc, not mathematical pleasingness?

That’s a good point. If you have a 50/50 split on shelves then you don’t want a hinge right where the shelf is.

I’ve just double checked.

99cm from one end to the middle of the hole for the middle hinge

And 95.5 from the other end.

The wipes out 3 holes when it should only take out 2.

I’m outraged, I tell you. Made a mockery of weeks worth of planning. My daughters future shoe collection is cast into doubt and let’s not even start on the pointless little draw thing for random stuff collection. She would be sobbing if she could get her face out of Among Us for long enough.

You can get a 35mm (I think) drill bit and drill another hole. Thats what I did for our kitchen cupboards when they didn't match the microwave height

Now, I’m not saying I measured the drawer heights wrong and I had to imagine a couple of drawers as they are not in stock yet.

But, it’s been a long day, ok.

Use the online wardrobe planner?

If I had measured it wrong, that was for the drawers I had put in rather than the door hinge holes being weird. Which they are.

If I did, I mean.

Stepping away from the keyboard now.

I felt like god the other day, I re-assembled an IKEA wardrobe that was taken down years ago... this sounds like not alot but when you have random wooden bits and long metal bits that lock into place with other bits it can be quite a mental task.

I feel for you!
