Interpreting weather as climate 😆

Though I do actually object to some comments in that article from people who should know better suggesting that global warming has had a significant influence on it not being worse.

My guess it's the old chestnut of 'Global warming' being interpreted as the weather universally getting hotter.

One can't draw any conclusions about "climate change" from one winter. That would be stupid. I'm sure the inhabitants of STW know that tho, right? I mean we're an intelligent bunch... 😉

The weather/climate in Britain doesn't matter two hoots really - the temperature over Greenland and the Arctic is what we need to be worrying about.

I think we can start to draw conclusions about the last 13 years. 12 abnormally warm with very little snow ice or frost and then one normal one. I remember walking through 4ft drifts to the post office to get my five 1/2 penny sweets and a comic. Oh how things have changed!
