Jon Hopkins on the park stage now - this'll be the best set of the festival 😀
Suede - meh, never really got them. Lead singer bloke looks old now.
Deadmau5 - preferred Skrillex last year
Going to see what this Hopkins bloke gets up to now as everything else is a bit underwhelming.
He likes to use the n word. Is it socially acceptable to use it these days?
If you are one, yes.
Never really got on with Suede, I would have to burn my TV if it had been polluted by Kanye West, so am currently watching Burt Bacharach on the red button.
I like some of his songs, but he shouldn't be singing. He's a composer, not a frickin singer.
Lead singer of suede looking old? I take it you are about 20, Matt? 😉
33
I don't think Brett looks so bad for a 47 year old. He should have his feet up whinging about all the shit bands at Glastonbury - like all of us, that's for sure, not hanging around a stage with loads of people singing his songs at him.
Enjoyed Vintage Trouble, The Maccabees and a bit of Suede. Paloma wasn't bad, if a bit bland for festival music. Even on 96" with full cinema surround, Kanye doesn't do it for me. Too busy thinking what all those lights are doing to my bulb life. I'm 47 too.
Suede are still a class act.
Sleaford Mods scare me. Even though they're 200 miles away, I worry any minute now he's going to break into my house and start shouting at me.
Steel pulse now. 8)
The full Lionel Ritchie set on now. Tune in pensioners! 😆
It's just not as good as when I used to go and see him in a dark, dingy, sweaty club. 😐
Liar, all your gig going is done via the telly.
Biggest crowd of the weekend according to Beeb. 😆
Sorry , but Lionel's as boring as so far IMO
Cripes, that really is a big crowd for Lionel. 🙂
Super Furry Animals smashed it
It would have been worth going for them alone
was great to see such a huge crowd for lionel
great performance too
and he managed to get through the whole set without shouting out N*gger at every opportunity
Super Furry Animals smashed it
Saw them when we were last there. They were awesome.
Well, I have to admit it, I enjoyed Lionel's show. He put in a great performance - some crowd.
Alice Levine is presenting on BBC3 now. She's lovely.
Some weird pub singer shit performance going on now. Furture Islands or something. Embarrassingly bad.
Bugger missed the supers. Weller is on
Hunger of the Pines Alt-J now. I do like this song, because there's a remix of it which is my fave track of 2015 so far.
someone worth watching at last. bbc4

John Robb summed up that bland shit best by saying 'we had punk to get rid of this'
Edit. I think he was talking about war on drugs. I stand by the bland comment about alt j though 😉
Aye - enjoying Paul Weller.
Quite enjoying Jamie t now.
What side's jamie t on?
Weller
In all my days I've never seen so many folk at the pyramid stage -nice one mr Ritchie.
Slaves are worth a look on catchup ....IMO obvs.
Lionel smashed it.
I think the whole of Glasto went to see him. The last time I saw a crowd like that was Rolfie back in 2002 (I was there - the less said about that the better I guess 🙁 )
Rolf was 1992 wasn't it? (I haven't bern since the early 90's, and remember seeing him)
Am i the only person that didnt like Lionel Richie? He came across as friendly enough and seemed eager to put on a good show but i had to switch over after a few songs as the 80s cheesy pop shite gives me a headache.
Rolf did both 92 and 02 as I remember!
Jamie T is the only one I haven't flicked out of - seemed to be getting proper into it and actually giving the crowd what they want.
the waterboys were the pick of what i've seen, everyone should check out their set - great stuff.
Not really a fan of Jamie T, but quite enjoyed that.
And now for the chemical brothers!
Listening to the Chemical Brothers* on 6 Music now who are rocking and Django Django sounded awesome earlier - so wish I was there.
* Probably dad dance by now if there is such a genre
No Courtney Barnett video's on iplayer, b'stards!
Ryan Adams kicking the arse out of it tonight.
The Chemical Brothers have been brilliant. not as good as Jamie xx on the first night, but still good...
Daltry singing "My Generation" without a hint of irony....
actually, the chemicals are getting better and better. the crowd are going wild
Chemicals always do a good show (flashbacks 😈 )
This is how you do it Kenny west, chemical brothers are rocking it!
