[#3773281]

I was tortured with a blob goo few days ago and thought FFS.

however...

About to scoff a rather nice looking final product.

But I got to pass 3 portions of dough on... any one in the Bristol area want a tub ?

You do realise that this is all an alien trick? They've sneakily got us to pass around, germinate, incubate and consume their genetic material. Soon, the whole plant will be covered by a 1-mile thick layer of spongy fruit cake.

Yes nice little idea, I've never made a poolish for a cake base.

The wife's got 'Herman' on the kitchen top... It's been taking up room for about 5 days, although apparently its going to get cooked tomorrow...
We had it when I was a kid, I'm hoping this one tastes as good!

herman is a ****er, but if you fill him with enough apple and sugar he does taste good.

mind you if you filled dinosaurpoo with enough apple and sugar, he would taste ok too.

Herman is amazing! Eating him whilst writing this. I baked Herman on Monday, took the majority of him into work and he was gone within 45 minutes. Boyfriend is very upset that he only got a quarter of Herman.

I was worried about Herman's age/ history etc. when we first encountered this, but the incorportion of mango and banana into the mix was enough to convert me. In the end, I was all for putting 'friendship' to one side and scoffing however many variations herman could produce before finally being diluted to a useless mess...

We've done it a couple of times. Nom nom nom. One of Mrs Tthew's friends came round with a portion today, and the news she's had D&V for a few days. Mrs Ttehw looked in the tub and asked her which one this was, the D or the V??

Your cake may be related to the cake i made not so long ago. I live in Bristol and passed on to others. You may have elements of my kitchen in your cake! In fact, you could have some of my skin cells in there! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Thats something to think about. ๐Ÿ˜† Mine was sh!t though, yours looks a lot better.

I gave away a portion of Herman in Bristol a few months ago - you may be eating his brother!
