I have copied the Topo maps across to my Vista CX and they are not behaving as expected.
I get all the normal map detail, roads, lakes, rivers, places of interest etc but no contours. If I scroll off the current window view then I see all the contours getting drawn on the screen and then just as its finished, they all get wiped over by a background colour.
Any ideas what's going on - I've spend ages playing with map settings, but nothing seems to work?
Have you checked in the 'maps' bit and checked it so it's visible?
Seem to remember mine did the same when I uploaded the entire country and screwed up, so I just reloaded a smaller quantity of maps & it was Ok then
I've only got the Topo Maps on there and in the Maps section all the individual map segments (by area) are checked - so they are all visible.
It's drawing the contours then either wiping them, or overlaying blank land on top.
Try reloading them - worked for me
