I am getting an old asbestos garage roof removed and getting it replaced. What is the best material to replace it with? I'm getting conflicting opinions regarding pvc and steel.

Ours is some fancy plastic rubber concoction from Derby Rubber Roofing. Been excellent in the 2-3 years we've had it, it replaced an asbestos roof as well.
