Hi All
I should like to install a Solitaire game on MrsJulianA's Sony Ericsson K550i. I've downloaded a .jar file from brothersoft.com and have no idea how to get it from my laptop to her phone and make it work. Can anyone help please? Internet access is not used on her phone. Needs to be free as well as I'm tight like that!
Or is there a better way of doing it?

Not really or even at all, GrahamS!
Transfer the file to a folder on the phone with the USB cable that came with the phone (hopefully). Possibly in a folder called downloads or such or somewhere you can navigate to with the phones File Manager. Then just use the file. There should be the option to install it if you select it.
You will probably need some software and a usb lead. Might be in the box.

Download it using the browser on the phone rather than onto the PC.
Thanks Cougar but don't want to use the browser on the phone as internet access is not set up on the phone.
