Has everything noticed the chandelier thing in the library is the opening credits?
Yes I noticed that too. Not sure if it'll be significant or not.
My favourite Game of Thrones reviewer has got around to episode ten.
....until the Night's King produces the real Horn of Winter and the wall collapses. Game on.
Or Bran passes beyond the wall carrying the mark of the Night's King and breaks the spell just like he did for the little cubby house beneath the tree.
[edit]
Oh shit. I've just considered a possible ending. Bran goes south of the wall breaking the spell and allowing the army of dead fellas through but then once they're on the other side the only way to reinstate the spell and wipe out the entire undead army in one go is to kill Bran. And in a callback to episode one it has to be The King of North that carries out the act.
Presumably she murdered Lothar and Black Walder, (neither of whom were on the List interestingly), chopped a few bits off, fingers and suchlike, and inserted them into a pre cooked pie from the kitchens.
I wasn't being entirely serious. 😉 I just liked the idea of Arya spending time baking.
It will only be 7 seasons. the whole is based around that number. 7 books, 7 gods (the sept!) 7 kingdoms etc I'll bet if you looked you could find a load more.
I guess they'll name it 7a and 7b then 😉
I thought it was well known that they'd confirmed 8 seasons.
I stand corrected Alex, http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/game-of-thrones-end-date-season-8-1201752746/
How annoying. It feels like one more season would be enough to bring it to a logical conclusion.
^^
Those Ozzyman videos are always awesome. I think last weeks may have been the best one yet.
What I really want to know is where on earth did Arya get that 'face'??
We saw her leave the house of Black and White and I very much doubt she took a stash with her!
Depends if the Night King busts out the ice dragons 😀
You know this teleporting thing... No timescale was given and whilst it might have taken a few mins in TV time could have been weeks in the 7 kingdoms. Just saying.

Arya I'll give you. But Varys ......nah piss off with that.
Well it could have been. But, for example, would Jaime really be partying with the Walder Frey for weeks after the Riverrun siege (long enough for Arya to get there)?
Mind you Jaime got to Riverrun from King's Landing in single episode and returned at the same speed in time to see the Great Sept still burning.
And that big fleet at the end with Varys on board with Dany and Martell and Tyrell ships sailing with them. Isn't Sunspear already on Westeros - do did those ships all sail out to meet Dany just so they could turn around for an awesome panning shot?
All very odd.
Good map here: http://quartermaester.info/
Joffrey's dead...
I knew I'd be wrong somehow! I never really learnt to TV right as a kid.
Some great covers of the music on Youtube. Some questionable some excellent, such as this one. Solo cello plays some of the themes!

I thought the pastry looked a little underdone and the filling seemed dry. Not as good as her Danish pastries, but maybe just enough to get her through to the next round. I bet Sansa bakes a mean brioche though... 😉
Littlefinger needs to stop trying out accents...
Interesting. They definitely both have that same straight blonde-almost-white Targarayen hair... 😀
I'll miss Stemroach but good to that the new Lord Commander of the Wall is on probation. Jonny Vegas for chief maester (however you spell it.)
Anthony Hopkins or Ben Kingsley for Boss Maester but I don't think they could afford them. John Hurt, Michael Gambon? they would all be great.
Bit of cult status with Malcolm McDowell? he'd be a bit cheaper.
lazybikeLittlefinger needs to stop trying out accents...
To be sure, aye he does. So it is. Tis. Yaar.

Hurt could be good or the other way Sylvester Mccoy still has his Hobbit character kicking around I'm sure. Apart from a small number the casting has been excellent Masie Williams is probably the best find, but most of them seem to work well together.
They could probably work a mini series called Jamie, Tyrion & Bron drink the 7 Kingdoms 🙂
What did happen to Gendry?
Still rowing then
Have you ever been in a boat? No...Can you swim? No...don't fall out. Maybe he fell out.
Thinking about he didn't stand a chance, he had to learn to row.. and follow a star that was behind him!
Nah, in all seriousness he'll show up at the end for Arya and marry her.
She'll be the last living Stark and he has Baratheon heritage - the Wolf and the Stag at peace again, completing the imagery from the very first episode.
No..please for all that's righteous with all the gods old and new..no happy endings!

My vision is this...
The Dothraki fleet get caught in a vicious storm and are lost. All that standing up took such a toll on everyone that they didn't have the energy to save themselves.
Cersei has no power anymore so drinks herself to death. Jaime beats himself to death with his golden hand, in grief. The Mountain rips his own head off.
Jon Snow/Stark/Targs goes north of the wall, forgetting that the dead can't pass the Wall. Gets defeated by the Night King. The dead sit next to the wall for eternity.
Arya poisons herself accidentally on an undercooked pork pie.
Sexy Dutch witch finds Beric Dondarrion and Dennis Pennis and realises that, with their 17 footsoldiers, they are the last power in Westeros so crown Beric king.
Gendry searches his scripts to work out why he was written out of the SOFAI. Rides north to find Benjen 'random character resurrection' Stark who suggests resurrecting Ned.
Ned resurrects Robert who eats Beric and dies of indigestion.
Sean Bean wins.
Since Sam is clearly the author inserting himself into the story, I think he's going to use the library to make the critical discovery that allows the Night King to be defeated. The army of the dead is too massive to battle conventionally (even with dragons) and as Sam has already gone from ostracised loner to slaying a fearsome enemy, getting the girl & the respect of his peers it seems obvious that he'll complete this clichéd storyline and use his mighty nerd-brain to save the world. Possibly with some kind of predictable heroic sacrifice right at the end.But what nugget of information is Sam going to find in the Citadel? How to make valerian steel?
Colleague mentioned this today, can't see it been mentioned in this thread yet, so here's goes. The bald wizards that chained up daenerys a season or so a go had a vision about a three headed dragon. So we have three dragons and only one pilot at the moment. One is daenerys, two john snow and third could be the dwarf guy as his mother also dies in child birth and the dragons didn't eat him when he set then free. Apologies I'm really bad with names! So three Targaryens and three dragons. Anyone seen anything to back this up or blow it out of the water?
the 3rd rider will be Bran!
Pod looks a bit like gendry..I'm really hoping pod meets littlefinger....aye pod.
They should have some money kicking around for the Boss Maester. Just re-allocate the budget that was used for Sean Bean, Charles Dance, Richard E Grant and Lovejoy.
There also needs to be a replacement of some of the miserable/dirty old men. Crastas went a while ago, Theon's Dad, Walder and now the Pervy Maester have all been relieved of duties recently.
Sam will find the instructions on making dragon glass, wildfire and similar old skool stuff that defeats the winter army.
It's pretty much set that Jon, dany and tyrion are the 3 dragon riders. Turion already showing he can master a dragon and likely being in the same boat as Jon by being a bastatd son as tywin Lancaster told him 'youre no son of mine'
Loved that last episode. It kinda restored my faith in the whole thing, since I lost it a bit during this series.
Well as winter has showed up here I decided to have a look at Series 1 again, the 2nd episode is very very telling for the big reveal in this series
Halfway through season 4 now...I'm not convinced this pod/brianne side quest is a good idea, arya's coming along nicely though. Her exchange with the hound when she was water dancing was comedy gold.
I'm thinking of watching them all again. Looked at the books and its about a foot and a half high!. Maybe for the winter( its coming don't you know).
This is brilliant btw (maybe a tiny bit NSFW)

Looks like they have a right bunch of muppets for the next series:

As I said above at least S1, for those complaining about teleporting in this series the King does KL to Winterfell (a month) then the rest of the characters manage to go up and down about 3 times in a week!
Season 4 finished..wasn't expecting that.
To get a flavour of the books without all that hassle of reading them the audio books are excellent. It's a lot more immersive and there is lots of fluff in the writing, but it's great listen. I listened to them on my commute.
