not safe for those in open plan offices, people will think theres something wrong with you
I agree that it's funny, but I am not sure I believe half the texts are real.
Take the example above. I have yet to meet a 'mum' (at least of an age that would have a child applying for uni) that actually knows how to use her phone, never mind carry on an extended dialogue with another son.
And lest anyone accuse me of sexism, the same thing goes for dads of that age.
So ageist, yes; sexist, no. ๐
I think STW is the funniest site ever.
"It could be a kid's face next time"
I piss myself everytime!
Framley always makes me chuckle heartily;

Eh?

My Dad is 63 and he's more IT savey than most of the people around me, and I work in IT.

Any thread involving dogs (minus the word "cute")
I thought you read every thread TSY? ๐
Whenever this site gets into talking about which way the toilet roll should hang and other related topics, I don't think there is anywhere else in cyberspace that could match it for humour.
There was a thread on here in the last year that had me in tears of laughter -- so much so that I embarassed myself in front of work colleagues.
The paper comes off the roll form the top: there is no other acceptable way to dispense it. SaxonRider, take this stuff seriously or get off the site.
Another Framley fan here
Yep, another vote for 27b/6
Just checked out 27b/6, very good! Will take a further look at that one. Another recommendation for the Framley site, as well as The Daily Mash, some seriously funny stuff on there For the more misanthropic amongst us, who enjoy pointing and laughing at other people we have People Of Walmart, my word, the sights you see on there...
Hmph, Saxon.
58 year old bloke here, perfectly capable of using text, phone, lappy, and even still riding a bike.
Ageist whippersnapper! Have you learned to wipe your own arse yet?
27b/6 is brilliant.
Had a decent laugh at fmylife but it does get a bit whiney after a while.
Yeah! Saxonrider - my Mum is in her 70s, this is my last text from her:

"Omg, im so sorry, i was just excited.
Luv u. Ma xxx"
(she has previously txted me the rugby results before I'd watched it, in case you were wondering)
Very different from the text I just got off her then Dez....
I get teh lulz from http://www.b3ta.com/
Sorry for the ageism, gentlemen. I guess I shouldn't assume that because my own parents couldn't use technology to save their own lives, that others' can't either. The problem does extend to other members of my extended family, though, so maybe it's genetic.
Then I can expect to lose my own aptitude in the next few years. ๐

Ha! Hope you were obliging ๐ฏ
