Obviously, if you are having a salad, keep it to yourself. Nobody ever felt markedly happier after eating lettuce.

I've just consumed this....

*burps*

Very nice it was too. What are the rest of the STW porkers planning?

As it is my birthday today I have the duty of supplying cake to the office.
Therefore, a shed load of cup cakes and Pastel De Nata will be steadily consumed over the course of the day

Bah.

I'm on a self imposed "only eat the food that you brought out of the house" diet on account of not being able to tie my own shoelaces without holding my breath.

Breakfast was the usual

Oats
Pumpkin seeds
Sunflower seeds
Hemp seeds
Flaxseed
Sesame seeds
Linseed
Flaked Quinoa
Ginger
Cocoa powder
Coffee
Kale
Water
All blended together

Lunch is indeed salad

For my tea it'll probably be self flagellation, an ice cold shower then off to bed in my hair shirt.

Are you actually a rabbit?

If not, then there's absolutely no excuse for that. Go and have a pie, for god's sake man!

Sausage and mushroom butty with ketchup.
Always look forward to the Friday morning email from our receptionist saying "Anyone want a butty ordered?". Numbers are dwindling in this office, but there's still enough that the greasy spoon delivers to us for free.

Breakfast was a banana and a yogurt. Lunch will be 2 cheese toasties a yogurt and a chocolate bar.

Dinner will be some spaghetti bolognaise I made on Wednesday night and a couple gin and tonics.

Doesn't sound that amazing but it's substantially better than what the company were providing !

Here's a thread I can get my teeth into!

We've a food market right outside the office, so today's lunch is courtesy of the Moroccan chaps who make these fantastic spicy chicken salads. They're observing Ramadan at the moment in sweltering temperatures next to a large grill and with long daylight hours. They all look quite wan, Eid can't come soon enough!

Otherwise, we've Japanese, Senegalese, Jamaican, Thai and Polish food stalls, something for everyone.

Oh and we've a Greggs too.

It's Friday and I can see Tennents bar, on Byres Rd, from the office window. It's calling to me....can you hear it as well?

Whatever I have for lunch, I suspect it'll be washed down with ale and therefore I should get all my labwork done this morning....like that's going to happen....because it's Friday....and I can see Tennents bar from the window....

Belgian waffle for breakfast. Only the one though rather than the usual 2 as [s]there was only one left[/s] I'm cutting back.

Lack of additional waffle has meant an emergency pack of branigans had to be deployed 1/2 hour ago. Butty van will be here in a bit though. He'd best have sausages...

I was weak and ate my lunch (bagel with ham from the butcher, mozzarella, sweet chilli sauce, basil and mayo) about twenty minutes ago.

So, for actual lunch I'll be on a massive dirty sandwich from the supermarket, fruit pastilles and banana. And a massive stuffed crust pizza for tea.

I started healthily, with a bowl of cornflakes with sliced banana on top....but it starts to go horribly wrong later with a large bakewell tart for lunch and a full on 'after golf' curry and six pints to wash it down at 9.30pm. ๐Ÿ™‚

Which supermarket sells fruit pastilles and banana sandwiches?

Breakfast: The usual granola and yoghurt with a triple espresso
Snack: BAAAAAAACON!!!!
Lunch: Baguette-style sandwich
Supper: Spicy marinaded chicken thigh fillets from the BBQ with a mixed salad, lentils, quinoa, beetroot and humus.

I may have a beer or two too.

Definitely an Asda thing rather than a Sainsburys thing.

One of our halls at uni would do banana and courgette soup when their canteen's budget was running low.

Two of us are.

I used to go a visit a ward of Libyan war casualties (being treated in the UK) and knowing they had a massively sweet tooth decided to bring a varied box of 24 greggs iced / filled donuts with me one day. On arrival the nurse said 'ooh donuts! Are they for me?'. Thinking she was joking I said 'Yes!' and handed them over expecting her to distribute them.

She wasn't joking. It was a friday mind.

I either need an eye test or some longer arms. So for it appears to me that Beej is breastfeeding and Willard gets his chicken from B&Q.

Mrs Binners has just reminded me why I married her, with the following text:

Just on Bury Market. Got us two mahoosive rib-eye steaks for tea. And a selection of cheese for afterwards. Oh... and got you a nice Malbec

I bloody love that woman! ๐Ÿ˜€

Malbec as well? Binners, you're a lucky man. Cherish her (and make sure you do the washing up).
