I am sure there must be "some" Spaniel in our rescue Irish farm dog special blend...

Life hasn't seemed quite the same since losing our 12 year old Springer, Oscar, last year.

Until this little chap came up for rehoming on Friday. Say hello to Marmite.

It's Friday...show me your spaniels! I hadn't seen Marmite up there previously - great looking dog. Well done on giving him a home.

This junkmail-chomping hound is 6 months old next Sunday:

Any new spaniel photos out there?

Had to take my lad to the vet this morning after a few days of D and a bit of V - one magic jab later he is almost back to normal, thankfully.

Lovely pictures.

Not a full spaniel (he's a springer / lab cross), but here's Lucas in action just in case anyone missed it on the other thread ๐Ÿ˜€ </proud owner>

Lost the last of 4 (all at the same time for 10 year!) In 2012. We need another but don't think its fair in a working household:(
Brilliant animals.

Nearly a month ( tomorrow ) since I said goodbye to my Heidi. She was 13 years old. Miss her like mad, but it's nice to see other spaniels.

Here's me and Heidi doing a selfie in the snow.

Ace thread - I love dogs. Once our life is less hectic and someone is around more, I want either a Cocker or a Vizsla. Even the boss is on board and she's more of a cat person.

We had a Springer called Meg when we were kids and she was ace. Huge amounts of energy but loved fuss and a cuddle. She would get a bit excited and wee on the floor from time to time. After my mum passed away she had to go back to the breeders because when we moved in with my grandparents she cam with us but refused to be contained in their garden. Having grown up on a farm near Dalby she was used to having a lot of space to roam.

Friend of mine has a half-Lab, half-Vizla bitch. She is awesome. A really lovely, happy, friendly dog and he (after some initial hesitation) is smitten with her.

I'm a spaniel man, but even I think she's awesome.

Sorry - missed Friday as photo bucket was down for maintenance.

Here's my faithful WCS Ziggy on holiday in Devon - that beach was dog friendly too!!
