Air:

This is a famous Waterford hurler called Ned Power - who kept goal in the sixties - there's an interesting story behind this catch, but, having always played with a helmet, it's as striking for the fact that there's a lot going on there with no helmets...I'm sure TeeJ would approve ๐Ÿ™‚ The other players are attackers and defenders. The goal will be behind Ned, the catcher...the chap in the dark top will have tried to "double" and incoming shot i.e. whack it before it hits the ground. The other player in white is defending. It's a brave keeper that comes out and leaps that high to make a catch like that, I can tell you.
