Tonight, I'm going to stay up late, watch Prometheus and get bladdered on a Heineken with Jack Daniels chaser cocktail.

What y'all up- to beer wise?

Er, you said beer.

I do have Beer (Spitfire) but I'm favouring quantity over quality tonight.

I normally make the most of the 4 for £5/£6 offers and grab myself a selection for the weekend.

I shall be carbing up on a couple of pints of Bath Ale's Gem down in The Castle in Bruton with Mrs Drain and a couple of friends tonight, after working up a suitable thirst with a short night pootle.

Peroni. Somehow we've ended up with three boxes of it so it'll be my stock answer to the question "what will you be drinking" for some time to come...

And yes, cocktails count double - as long as they are either a) fruity or b) multi-coloured in layers.

Off into Sheffield for a few pints of Moonshine in the Red Lion, Red Deer and no other red animal-themed pubs.

The office beer fridge openned a few minutes ago. Currently drinking a Sam Adams Boston Lager. May switch to London Pride or an IPA after.

Yeah But, yeah but.. my choice is fizzy lager or..fizzy lager, now you can't expect me to drink that syrup..

To be fair, I get quite tipsy on cocktails, they tend to be based around Whiskey or Brandy or Rum.. then I get all silly and start saying things like "I LuV U Man" often to MrsBouy..

😆

Used to be quite pally Bruce who brewed Fraoch, assuming its still him doing it. Was quite a hard beer to keep on draught IIRC. When served well it was quote aromatic.

Pah! Fruit based drinks are for Girls.

We're talking about cocktails, and so a certain degree of XXedness is already assumed. Given that, we go for the cool cocktails, which as above are the fruity and / or multicoloured ones!

I did mine last night (suffering for it at work this morning though...)

Williams Joker IPA
Caesar Augustus Lager/IPA thing
Harviestoun Schiehallion
Black Isle Red Kite Ale

Can recommend the Red Squirrel on Lothian Road to Edinburgers who like their beers and err burgers.

Instead of buying 4 cans of Stella, which I normally drink 3 of after my night rides, the last time and for tonight I have purchased one can of something else. Tramps and drunks the Uk over swear by it, it's Carlsberg Special Brew! 9% abv!!! I quite liked it the other night and sipped over the course of an hour or so it's very nice.
Does this make me an alcy? 😳
