I think it's a lack of understanding on the ladies part of how us men look at this post. It's absurd to state that we look at these athletes with anything other than respect for the efforts they have put in to get their body in such good physical shape. Unfortunately women just do not understand that men tend to objectify things and are more inclined to think of women as objects like a bike, a car or a lovely painting. So these femeale athletes are really just objects to us us like bikes and cars etc. No ones complains if someone posts a pic of that beautiful cove hustler with the xtr kit on...

i hope this helps the ladies understand this post a little more. ๐Ÿ˜€

Do Cheer leaders count as sport?

I didn't think it mattered, just so long as the person was athletic. But since you asked, yes. Least I'd imagine so. Seeing as there are competitions for it where people compete for points which is apparently the definition of sport.

I'm not really sure that argument is helping the cause!

Not to me they're not. Women are human beings, and deserving of respect. They are not objects.

Looking at someone's bottom, and thinking 'hmm, that's nice', is only natural. Looking at someone's bottom, and placing it in the same context as a car or bike, is not. Women are not property, chattel or belongings.

When I look at a picture of an attractive woman, I may think 'she's fit, healthy and sexy', but tbh, I prefer real people. Because a picture does not in any way have a personality, a reality, a soul.

There's nowt wrong with looking at nice bottoms. I think some people on here need to address the way they see other human beings.

Can we scratch all the silly comments on this thread and just leave it the way it's meant to be, full of nice appeasing photos of people with fitter bodies than us? Keep the PC boys away, if they don't like it they don't have to click on it!

Some Italian rugby players - namely Sergio Parisse, Denis Dallan, Ezio Galon, Andrea Masi and Gonzalo Canale.

and the FSB one has been closed

now I've just realised my initials are an anagram for that and demand an objectifying Friday SexySimon Barnes thread :o)

So these femeale athletes are really just objects to us us like bikes and cars etc

speak for yourself! What I like is beauty combined with a real person that can react back, not an inert object (even if that reaction is "go away you nasty man")

I think the rules are a little Quaker-esque. A bit of gratuitous posting of the opposite sex on friday can't really hurt anyone.

Unfortunatately, it's not my forum so I can't make the rules though.

Perhaps we should go and blockade Dover untill we get our way? Anyone want a lift?

I see all these threads as a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun. Sometines a bit smutty in the Seaside postcard/Benny Hill style. I rarely post on them but normally have a giggle at the comments. All good fun.
Yes, any out of line comments need to be modded, but you get worse on religion/Race/Iraq threads than on any of the FSB/Kylie/A&A threads IMO

Mark, please don't stop the A&A. It's a storm in a tea cup, it'll be alright

Guys, FWIW if you keep arguing I can't help thinking Mark et al will close A&A for good, simply for an easier life!

Personally I'm not particularly fussed either way - I'm not particularly bothered by sportswomen with their fur(!) showing; equally I know I'm far from the finest male specimen and don't feel threatened by pictures of other men.

wow - how grown-up do I sound?! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't think anyone is arguing really.

As a plus though, there are far more pics on men on here than ever before!

I've appreciated and admire athletes.

I strive for my own six pack which I've had and now dieting again.

I think men or women athletes can inspire us. We have a choice

Also they are in shape for their sport-it can come with the training.
Rather than being pushed down peoples throats like fashion magazines.

But then again I could have posted a pic of Sharon Davies swimming... ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Brains to match her looks too. I mean who wants to date a brainless hot lady or man?

IIRC it was mentioned she was/is also in politics, hence pretty intelligent

Personally, being 'well buff', I don't feel at all threatened or emasculated by pics of sexy blokes. I can see how some other, not so buff fellers might feel a little uptight. But it's their inadequacy, that's their problem really. Any bloke what complained about the FSB thread is a sad git. Get a life!

Speaking of bottoms...

I do feel inspired by seeing photos of male athletes! I think 'cor, impressive six pack, but I'm happy with my keg. Now, where did I put the xbox remote?' ๐Ÿ˜‰
Actually, let's face it, if we're fit enough to get out on bikes reasonably frequently, none of us is actually Rick Waller...

Aleigh - My wrestling addicted female housemate can't decide whether the Rock is fanciable or not. On the 'yes' side, he is very athletic and well muscled. On the 'no' side, his real name's Dwayne... ๐Ÿ˜†

I'll add one of the less indecent shots of another wrestler:

I've eat cake, lots of it, aslo i have a spine grove like that, so simon that's not the truth....

Now boys you too can eat lots of cake AND have a grove too, just follow my carefully applied training plan..

i'll not be posting picture proof, either as it's not in the rules, same as i've a photoshop copy with a lizard tattoo on my butt cheek.

So apt in the 'is she part reptile'

I think we need some extensive research here. I will volunteer to eat epic amounts of cake and then you can take a look at my back. All sponsored by STW of course.

I will need tea as well, thanks. Only fair, y'see.

And just to clear that up again, I never reported it and I only commented in the thread that it was outside the rules for being non-athletic-based (and hence double standards). I welcome pics of men in A&A, in a wholely non-gay sense! ๐Ÿ˜†
