Is there such a thing as a generic door strip? Or do I need to find the specific part for mine? Obviously it's pretty old by now which is why it needs a new door strip...

Unfortunately not generic, all different.
Obviously different lengths, but also different profiles, different ways to attach to the door, and different sealing mechanism (magnetic strip, or just like compression)
