Anyone have any particular recommendations for free virus checker software? Used to use AVG but it was so resource hungry that you couldn't use the laptop during a scan. So, something that sits in the background doing it's thing would be nice. There seems to be so many now, but any to avoid or defo use?

Thanks!

I have a Barclays account and a computer which came with a free subscription to Norton. I use MSE.
