Game over ๐Ÿ™

For Grumm...

[url=

over man, game over![/url]

Plenty of time left in this one, though it is an ABYSMAL start from Engerland... good tight bowling from the Aussies though and just enough movement in the air to make it difficult

Oh go home... his fingers were definitely beneath it (and anyway, even id it didn't, which it did, it'd make up for the LBW decision first ball ๐Ÿ™„ )

Oh well - feeling slightly less gutted as I had some tickets for the fifth day which I couldn't make it to - looks like I'll get a refund anyway. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Who's first ball? Broad's first didn't hit him on the pad.

ah, sorry, didn't make that clear ๐Ÿ™‚ yes I was referring to Strauss (though thankfully in the end it didn't cost much ๐Ÿ˜€ )

Forgive me, but given the overcast conditions and headingley's reputation for swing I'd assumed that we'd been put in having lost the toss.

The weather forecast for tomorrow and Sunday is good and will be a good time to bat - so what the **** was Strauss thinking of??

Well at least we've passed our lowest total at Headingly, and looks like we should get 100.

What do you reckon on our chances at the Oval - looks like we'll be needing a win (though realistically we always needed to win one of these matches)?

England coming apart like a badly-packed kebab...

Why does this remind me of Selina Scott?

Actually, why are we being so pessimistic? According to the Hawkeye stats we've still got 10% chance of winning this (and almost as much chance of salvaging a draw)!

Two landmarks in one - 100 runs, 53 innings ๐Ÿ™‚ Got to take the positives from this!

You can edit your posts, brassneck, or given we've now gone past 100 you could just leave the first and edit the 2nd ๐Ÿ˜‰

And that, as they say, is that... top half-days work from the Aussie bowlers ๐Ÿ˜€ Now to see if our batsman can carry it on and twist the knife a bit ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

No worries - Harmy will get 8 for 20.

I do think Harmison will be a bit of a handful, the pitch looks to have a bit of bounce in it, should suit him

edit: though I don't know about 8-20 ๐Ÿ™„

Because, sadly, natural order has been restored to the Universe.
(Don't expect to see Button on the F1 podium for the rest of the season either)

a ridiculously wide wide

Twas only ridiculously wide cos it seamed a long way. What's more, that didn't hurt my stats prediction, as byes don't count against the bowler ๐Ÿ˜‰

Are England throwing this game?? How can they be playing so bloody badly all of a sudden!? I reckon they've got a bet on against themselves to lose (the odds must've been pretty good at the start of the day? Does anyone know what they were?)

I'm suddenly feeling much, much more optimistic.

"Australia have never won a decisive final Ashes Test without Don Bradman in the team."

Why are they bowling so short when the ball was swinging for Australia? ๐Ÿ˜ก

all they have to do is get 8 aussies out without loosing 40 runs

england arent a badly packed kebab they are a kebab with no pita and no wrapping

just a load of meat pickles lettuice and chilli\ garlic sauce dumped in your hand, dribbling through your fingers
