Second pic is worm poo is it not? Lugworm or similar living under the surface

The second was made of sand and approx. 1 inch diameter. Some had a hole at the top.

The casts in the second pic. are definately Arenicola marina casts.
The first looks like a slightly damaged sand-mason(Lanice conchilega) tube- a type of terebellid worm
