I'd be up for that, would be a bit of a laugh. When Forza 1 was out I spent weeks challenging a guy from work to hot laps of the Nurburgring in a Bentley Speed 8

Jeez - 8 seconds quicker. Told you I was pants. Is the Lizard super quick?

Saying that I tend to screw up if I get in anything too quick - it is a long time since I've owned a console (Wii excluded)

1:33.989

Standing start, ABS and Traction Control, no other assists

if it's going to be done properly then we need to all be using same car/track/start method/assists otherwise it's pointless

oooh, that felt a bit anal (so to speak)

My xbox is cooling down at the moment due to red ring of death, i'll check back later to see your times.
I agree with catflees on maple valley being better than suzuka.

Tskuba: 54.495. (abs+tc) I am playing on a tiny 19" screen thats 10 foot away lying in bed with chronic pneumonia and fluid in one lung tho! I like that porsche, only got the game at Christmas and been in hospital for a few days so not driven it before ๐Ÿ™‚

Going to have some time on my hands over the next week or two so I'll report back once I've had some practise (and well enough to get in the lounge and on the proper telly!)

[edit] Another vote for Maple Valley (full) over Suzuka

Tskuba 55:453, hope the pneumonia doesn't hurt too much. I had it 3 years ago awful.

Hmm, haven't played for ages and I appear to be a little bit under par! 56:378 is the best I can get on Tsuka with the Flying Lizard, abs and tc ๐Ÿ™ I will try maple! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hoocylala! The game is on!

I vote we should keep the car unfiddled with. So we all have the same settings. But sup to you.

Cheers catflees, yep it does hurt definitely feel on the mend compared to a few days ago tho ๐Ÿ˜‰ Worst thing was missing my new years day ride for the first time in over 20 years, always managed to make it come hell or high-hangover before but there was just no way this year. How long was it before you were able to get out on the bike again?

39.057 is the best I can manage on Maple short, much prefer the flow of the full circuit though -batteries have gone in the controller now ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

[edit] car as standard, abs+tc. I assume everyone else is on auto (hope so I just can't manage manual changes!)

54.188 for Tskuba very frustrating been .6 up on that, but keep falling off the grey bit.
37.162 for maple valley short before the red ring appears.

Nice. Will see if I can wrest the TV from the missus later ๐Ÿ™‚

Maple Valley better than Suzuka? That's crazy talk. But then I've been watching F1 for the best part of 30 years; Suzuka is a classic venue.

Suzuka is good but maple valley full has just a nice flow to it.

If you're really into your gaming you need a specific telly for just that. I have a cheeky little samsung 24 inch in 'xbox corner'
