I've just tried to post a for sale in the classifieds.

The posting an image has now become very complex due to more options. I also can't see the content of my post. All I get when I click on the subject from the classified index is the title and a reply box.

???????

I just tried logging out and then viewed my posts. Both of them return a coffee cup and "thread cannot be found". But they are both there in the listings?????

^^ you can swear in the modified reason box! Mods - was only testing 😀

Liking what I’m seeing so far, but the green, I’m afraid, just doesn’t work. On my 10.5” iPad full-screen it’s very difficult to read without reading glasses.
A darker shade of green would probably make a big difference.
But otherwise, apart from the fine details the update looks very promising.
Thanks for the hard work.

The edit your post window is much smaller (time wise) i was hoping to delete that image above as i chose a large file to test (10mb plus). 9 minutes is too late to edit?

For everyone's benefit then..

Today we launched an updated forum built on a updated version of BBpress.Today was all about getting it stable. Today was not about fixing things like font sizes, colours or avatars being huuuge. That's for when we've got the engine running smoothly.

It's going to take a few days to get everything settled.

..and then the big changes can happen 🙂

Text box disappearing off the RH side of the screen on mobile (portrait) is annoying, previous version sized to screen correctly

Shoving a silly oversized avatar on the bottom of an edited post is also pointless and a bit annoying, otherwise it still looks like any other forum...

Haven't looked at it on a PC yet...

There does seem to be a posting issue in classifieds. All the new posts have DB typed URLs not nicely rewritten ones.

Where did the post image box come from? I've got no post editing/styling tools currently.

Stu - use the icom on the right (with the two mountains and the sun) to insert an image. Worked for me ^^

Stu - are you on a PC or a mobile? I posted from a Win 10 PC w/Firefox.

I can't see the threads I've previously commented on.

God that green is foul and so hard to read.

Green user names about twice the size of the text. Old version was nicer. No idea if other things are better, never do anything but post and whinge!

I did read your original post Mark… unfortunately I interpreted it as "there's more good stuff to come", rather than "please don't tell us what currently looks odd or is hard to use due to the most recent back end focused update".

I've just got a reply box with a preview and submit button and that's it, no quote, picture, video options or anything.

And the preview button does nothing.

Ok, so you can't use the share photo option that Flickr provide.

Instead you have to click on the download this photo tab, select view all sizes then right click and copy image address.

That's a bit long winded.

bbcode from flickr does not work 🙁

The really big, really low resolution avatar pics are properly not good when browsing on a phone.

Oddly, normal(ish) colours on pc, but green on iPad? I'm also getting a number of broken links when I click on some threads in the chat forum and classifieds.

I can't Paste into the Reply box (chrome/android)

When I click on one of my 'Forum Topics Started', the first post is often (but not always) missing.
