I asked for Sheldon's autograph after spotting him at a London bike show, it seemed to freak him out a little ๐
Fred stared at me once. I thought I was being stalked.
Ah. And how is the ol' wok-smuggla'?
I've met some great people off here.
I've been shown round some great locals trails by some great people off here.
I've shown some great people off here round stuff I know.
I've also avoided some not so great people off here.
everyone I've met from here in real life has been fine, even the ones who act like knobs online, I always give them the benefit of the doubt, the loudest online always seem to be the quietest when you meet them for real though ๐
Stoner is a gent. He did our club a right good turn.
Rocketdog once took an amazing photo of me flying in a fat suit at mayhem. That's the closest I've got to his presence, but for that fleeting glance I feel blessed ๐
I've bumped into a few forumites at other events, but its usually a cidery blurr so I apologise for not recalling details.
lol. As he is quite distinctive looking, seen rocket dog quite a bit out while out and about in the car. Even seen him in pub, tea room etc but he was either looked engrossed in conversation or I was struggling with the kids to say hello
Dave was quite a nice chap....

just buy me cake, friends forever then
Met a few folks from here on Pook's Pootles, everyone seemed quite normal with the exception of Hora (wet & misty btw Mark) met quite a few more since Rushupgate and made some good friends through the ensuing battle with DCC.
No asshats to report in those groups which makes me suspect that, because every group has one, it's probably me!!
Met a couple through the classifieds, & probably held up a few of you up at SSUK last year. Sincere apologies for that, won't happen again etc. Tazz looked too stressed to be bothered with autographs.
Taki- it was a hectic few days! Rest assured I'll give you a big kiss next time
I like people from here that I hosted the Single Track Southern Festival at my house which mutated into the Big Bike Bash. I only knew 3 of the 35 people who stayed that weekend but they were nice and at the BBB I have mEt loads of people and all good so far.
I met a few many years ago in what's gone down in history as the 'Convent Garden Massacre'. Beer Fuelled doesn't even get close ๐ Everyone knows Stoner, mainly as he hasn't got a proper job so has much free time for socialising!
Had some great rides being guided by people off here, and shown a few round as well. Don't remember meeting anyone with more than a few special needs ๐
Had a fantastic evening with hora, binners, nbt and Bregante a few years ago in Manchester. Even witnessed hora buying a round (and the hassle he caused when it came to it).
noteeth, BigDummy and Stoner and too many Southville Hops in No. 1 Harbourside, Brizzle.
Also, had the immense pleasure of destroying a good chunk of Stoner's port collection. ๐ (still not forgiven for that one...)
Had a ride with philconsequence, TSY (peace be upon his name) and iDave!
All top chaps.
My next target is to meet Jamie in the flesh.
I think I've met you DD. You came over to our house when it was basically in about a 1000 bits. I believe I engaged you in a riveting discussion on engineered oak floors ๐ It would have been 6 or 7 years ago. Blimey!
Last night I met DrP's wife in a dimly lit car park ๐
Ah yes Alex...blimey, that was ages ago. I wasn't a bit jealous of where you lived. Oh no, not me. Assume you're still in the same place?
Yeah still here. Floors down now ๐ Always welcome to come and have a ride in the Malverns or the FoD if you fancy it.

RIP Pat Mustard.
Met loads of people. All have been ace.
Met and rode with loads of people from here... all been great folk.
Too many to mention here. All been nice and good mtbers. Even met Jamie on a Pook's Peak Pootle.
STWers always have a great sense of humour and make me laugh ๐
Met a few of you whilst racing, and a lot of you at that shonky ssuk do last year.

If my sense of humour is lacking, should I just leave quietly...
i met WCA: he handed me his car keys ๐ฏ
I've also had the pleasure of meeting WCA when he was despatched to the north. We got absolutely mullered!!! On a school night too!! ๐
^^ I had to drive him home that weekend!!
DrP
Me too, *and* we got mullered on a school night too.
He didn't give me his car keys. Mind you you'd be crackers to do so..
We got absolutely mullered!!!
How many pints of yoghurt did that take?
Mutual back slapping posts from Monday Night Pub Ride regulars are conspicuous by their absence...
Are we allowed to have favourites?
Mine is nbt ๐
First rule of Monday night club.....?
Oh hang on a minute..... that's about turning up on a Monday, isn't it? ๐
Mines 40DD ๐
One particular member is awesome & that's LeeW. He knows why.
Thanks once again Lee.
That's the one RD! Took 3 bottles of helium in my suit to get the levitation effect ๐
Actually junkyard is very nice in the real world and at no point did I get an urge to spilt his frontal lobes with a shovel, which was awkward, as I had to try and explain why I had a spade in my backpack
I assumed it was to dig a well in the never ending quest for water.
