Morning all,

Can anyone recommend somewhere good to eat in central Oxford please? Nothing mega expensive, I'm thinking more grills and bistro's than proper restaurants.

Thanks all.

If burgers are your thing, then Byron on George Street is good and not expensive.

Bill's just off Cornmarket is good - their duck pie is amazing.

pdw has it right there!

Something more café like and you could pop into G&Ds if you fancy a nice Bagel. Also the home of sumptuous daim bar cookies. And "home made" ice cream.

The chuch in the centre is owned by the university

The krypt has a good buffet. No a he range but well priced and an inresting place. Mate who lives in Oxford uses it as his default lunch out

G&Ds is a must if you're in Oxford...just because....it's what you do.

For gastropuby food, maybe the Trout.
