Food cravings after a ride, no matter how long/short/summer/winter whatever.. but i....
Always, I always, crave these pork pies from Waitrose.

Chicken liver pate on cream crackers and some salted peanuts. Sometimes I can't stop thinking about eating this for hours before I get home from a ride.
It varies.
Porridge.
Toasted malt loaf and butter.
Toasted hot cross buns and butter.
Hotdogs with HP sauce.
Solero.
Magnum.
Partially depends what's in the house at the time, as I'll only crave things that are available.
Normally end up with chocolate milk though.

Water,malted barley,yeast and hops. 😀
Beer.
Always beer.
My local pub gets pork pies from a local farm shop, pork and apple, pork and chilli, various other types, home made pasties etc.
That and a pint of blonde ale.. I'm surprised I ever manage to leave!
Yup Stella, pork scratchings & S&V quality crisps.
In the summer I crave pineapple with a vengeance. I have no idea why.
everything usually - about 2000 calories 😆

Can't beat beans on toast.
Or leek and potato soup with a tin of tuna whacked in it, with crusty bread aka 'Dream Team' 😉

I got back from my ride today and there, waiting for me, was a leftover Robinson's sausage from breakfast. Which was nice.
normally it's a pint of beer and a packet of crisps but today I had to have a pint of beer a bowl of chips. extra carbo required 🙂
