Have been over my "allowed" limit for ages and keep getting reminders to upgrade to pro account for $25. Is it worth it or should I just open another free account?

It is if you join a group like this

Don't forget to take a photo a day and join a few of us on here in 2010
Or this

Or even this one

Gives you unlimited sets and collections and no monthly upload limits. You can also archive high-res shots.
Depends how much you use it, but I reckon it's pretty good value.
if you take a say a thousand or so pics a year than most defiantly yes.
15 quid a year gives you unlimited sets, no ads, unlimited uploads, backup of all your photos. I'd say it is worth it, plus Flickr is such a good site I'm not unhappy paying something to use it.
have been for 3 years brilliant site
I have a pro account but pay nothing.
Think it's because I have btinternet as my broadband provider.
Same here, Pro account as I'm with BT.
I'd say worth it...used to be a user of Fotopic, signed up to Flickr but never really got started due to the limit on number of collections.
Then my Fotopic subscription expired, tried Flickr again and realised I had been upgraded to a Pro account 🙂 Stuck with them this time.
hey foxy, are you foxy on flickr too?
5000 photos on my account
Is there a easy wat to download a set of pictures from flickr back onto your harddrive, I only seem to be able to do it one image at a time?

I've used flickrdown in the past. Does the job, been around a long while now though, there might be better stuff out there.
