2 weeks ago today we had our first barbie.
Outside minus 7 degrees, thick snow on the ground, dark night. With the essential Aussie to cook the meat.

Anyone else braved the weather yet?

I had a bbq in a snow storm a couple of years ago. That was fun.

Walking the dog around 6am this morning as it was starting to get light and it did actually feel like an early summer morning. It was unseasonably warm.

I had a BBQ last summer where I had to drill holes in the bottom of the BBQ first to let the water drain out. We then lit it and cooked in the garage while watching the storm outside. Bit smokey but good fun and great food.

Christmas Day breakfast is always a barbecue. Always best in a few feet of snow. The look on the faces of people out for a pre-Xmas lunch walk is priceless ๐Ÿ™‚

Why should you only have a bbq in the summer?

I have them all year round..infact was sat on Kingley Vale only last weekend having one with mates.
