Looking to get takisawa junior a laptop.
Be for internet, homework, won't be games as I've won the "I want a gaming pic battle" battle, with the lure of an xbox1 for the lounge.

So, spec wise I'm thinking:-
i3 processor, 8g ram, either a big normal hard drive or an ssd.
15" screens seem pretty common.

Very.co.uk have a Lenovo for £299.
Asus seems to be on offer at about £329.

Hoping the Black Friday deals might have something.

Just been through the same thing for the young lady for Xmas.

Looked at new ones. Then just got a refurbed dell, with an i5, 8gb of ram, 320gb of hdd, 14" screen. Battery was 80% fine. Came with Win7 pro but used the [slightly dodgy] still free Win 10 upgrade. Got 12 months warranty. Very slight mark on case, apart from that it's pristine.

Very impressed actually. Cost £210. Can say where if it's not breaking protocol

Thanks. Had his last one from tier1online, but he's got his heart set on a new one.

Dell outlet... They are basically new/unused.

Check stock around 3pm each week day when it gets updated.

Edit - even 'scratch and dent’ are usually blemish free.
