[#8145400]

We've been thinking of getting a new dog for ages now and finally succumbed to temptation.

So introducing Skye-an F1 cockapoo...

Needless to say we're all utterly smitten.

lovely.

my top dog tip, if you don't know it already, but go to your local farm store for working dog food. really good stuff and massively cheaper than supermarkets.

Thanks all. She's been ace so far. Really chilled out for a pup and settled into the zoo well:) and the boy is made up. He's been desperate for a dog for ages.

Yeah, can't wait to take her for walks etc. Only another 3 weeks or so...

Lovely dog. We have a 5 month old cockapoo. She's nuts but also a great dog. Very friendly and easy to train

we have a 3 year old. Butter wouldn't melt, etc., but by god what a scrounger if you let her. Extremely trainable if you can spend the time (which i hope you can), but we were warned by the breeder as our one's mum is a working cocker - if you don't keep them busy they'll go self-employed, and you won't like the jobs they find themselves.

Lovely dogs.

Yeah cockapoos ticked all the boxes. We used to have greyhounds and loved them dearly but they're not the best for younger kids and aren't the sort of dog you can take on a family stroll etc.

We went through just about every breed of dog going starting with 'poos then round and back again! Never heard of anyone have a bad word about them.

Luckily because my wife works 2 12hr shifts, one usually at a weekend, there's at least one of us around all day every day.

Her mum was the most beautiful jet black show cocker and the most chilled out dog I've met. Breeder was spot on also. And yes even at 8 or so weeks old she will already sit on command and picks up routines so quickly.

Very very pleased with our choice (except at 430 this morning when Finley woke up, shouted to me and woke her up and she didn't stop barking!).
