I always liked the Seattle Seahawks from a palette and simplicity pov. Similar stuff from Italian football
Old one:
There is / used to be hangman style game one of the kids played on the iphone where you had an obfuscated logo (obvious words removed), empty spaces for letters and you had to choose from available letters to ID the club.
