Good call! Thats exactly what I had for my breakfast this morning. 😀

I don't do anything sweet so my world is one packed with decadent savoury snacks

I had honey and mustard glazed chicken drumsticks for lunch which Mrs Binners cooked a job lot of at the start of the week

My favourite barbecue nibble is chorizo and halloumi on a cocktail stick with a honey and mustard dipping sauce. Superb flavour combo!

Rice cracker, thick smear of goats cheese and a teaspoon of the fake caviar*.

*real caviar doesn't fit on the 'slightly decadent' thread theme

This, on oatcakes with houmous and a little rock salt.

And on virtually anything to be honest.

It's good, but more of a condiment than a snack!

I just had a homemade sausage roll. Hard to beat that...

Unless maybe it was a scotch egg or pork pie

My higher chemistry class have a "bake it don't fake it" charity Wednesday bake, where one of us bakes and the rest donate some money, the final pot goes to a local charity.

Anyway, today we hade cheese and marmite sausage rolls. A definite favourite beating all the sweet bakes so far this year.

Hmm, I'm guessing I'm not very decadent. The closest I can think of would be smoked salmon and scrambled egg either on sourdough toast or German black bread. Though it probably be breakfast not a snack.

Yesterday evening, I baked a batch of cheese scones. Elevensies this morning was a lightly toasted cheese scone, a chunk of cheese, and red onion marmalade. Delicious enough, but I prefer my Stilton and cayenne pepper scones.

There's a local deli around the corner that bakes the most wonderful Chorizo sausage rolls.

Our homemade sweet piccalilli, out of the jar with a big spoon standing in front of the cupboard. Maybe a squirt of Hellmans on top.

a scotch egg, black pudding or not, is a substantial meal, I think we decided?

Proper beef jerky for me. From the Saffer shop just up the road from me. As intended, and then when it's dried out too much given 10s in the microwave.

Gentlemen's Relish on thick cut heavily buttered toast.

Failing that I find the classic cheese and pineapple on a cocktail stick one step down from meth for moreishness.

That’s Biltong not jerky!

Avo on black bread toast… except avocado literally grows on trees here and is cheap.

dont do decadent.

quick fave is,

2 buttered slices of thick warbies, spread with marmite on one slice, may on the other.

handfull of cheap sliced ham, 1packet of cheese and onion crisps crunched up on top and a slice of extra mature cheese.

top butty.

In the same style Ton..,

Warbies toastie, loads of butter, crap cheese singles, packet of Seabrook salt n vinegar all scrunched up

One of Mrs Binners favourites:

Scrunch up a packet of salt n vinegar crisps until they’re crumbs then drop a pickled egg in and give it a good shake

Or pickled onion Monster Munch

Choux pastry balls filled with molten Guyere cheese and peppered with crumbed Comte cheese on the outside. Incredibly laborious to make, but oh my word, tasty tasty tasty goodness.
