NSFW but this sketch which wasn't shown originally but was shown on later compilations always cracks me up
The bob fleming sketch were he thinks he is off camera and is talking about presenting his ladyfriend with a piece of temporary neck jewellery 😀 ,then goes into "ello Bob Fleming ere " genius
Monkfish superb
birky; thanks. Love that sketch. Stands out for me as a moment that defines Whitehouse's brilliance.
Whitehouse has an amazing ability to observe people, and develop fabulous characters all with their own unique foibles. Utterly believable, almost 'real' people. Characters with their own unique catchphrases like Ron Manager; 'jumpers for goalposts', a phrase now deeply entrenched in our culture.
He's even managed to make insurance adverts funny. Far, far better than that stupid annoying toy dog.
Republicca Presente...
That's amazing for me
And Johnny Nice Painter. And Channel 9.
Off topic big train sketch were "the artist symbol prince etc" is in the Serengeti stalking jockeys ....genius
I'd forgotten how many FS characters there were and have just bought the DVD boxset off the back of this thread - can't wait for it to arrive 😀

Rowley Birkin, if only because it all builds to the incredible pathos of the last sketch.
Republica Presente, for accurate representation.
Indecisive Dave and Colin Hunt for being so true to life. And then Colin Hunt again for stopping you quoting it too much...
Anybody here used to enjoy "Help"?
I thought that was excellent
I'm off to Spain this week to meet a new client...think I'll watch old episodes of The Fast Show to acclimatise.
