Trinity bridge, Crowland, near Peterborough
Three entrance points meet in the middle to cross a river where a tributary meets it. Then some smartarse diverted the rivers and left it high and dry.

Tillman-O'Callaghan bridge because it's big, it's high and it's next to something really special!

The new (late 90s) bridge over the Dee in North Wales is rather nice

Wonder if the conversation when they were designing this was along these lines:

Customer: 'We need a bridge that goes from a drive-on-the-right country across the border into a drive-on-the-left country, there must be a solution'

Engineer: 'Bollocks'

Customer: 'Steady on, we're looking for answers here'

Engineer: 'Yep, bollocks'

[img] [/img]

Customer: 'Knob!!'

Engineer: 'Aye, that too'

[img] [/img]

Customer: 'Any chance of a Pearl Necklace Bridge too?'

Engineer: 'Since you asked nicely, here's one from gizmag'

Because I was there last week, Charles Bridge in Prague. I got up at 5am to get a shot without any people in.

Hate to say, but there appears to be a dude stepping out under the arch on the left..
🙂

Been there a few times. Amazing you got it so quiet!

Brunel's "Three Bridges" (only two actually) - not fancy looking, just a genius bit of engineering.

Still sore at being overruled by Mrs Tyred when I proposed Isambard as a name for our boys.

The aquaduct in Segovia is pretty cool. It's built entirely without mortar, apparently.

I can see this one out of the window

It's a bit less jazzy today though
