Fancy Editor

Is it me or is it getting worse? The fancy editor buttons appear if I swap between Text and Visual tabs (still nothing on the Text tab), but i can't click on any buttons to the left of the numbered list button!  Also can't click on any text to the left of where that button lines up.   Very odd, and happening on different browsers.

No buttons for me in the 'text' window option.

Been like that for a few days (that I've noticed).

The naming of the 'fancy' editor reminds me of rich tea biscuits. As in 'if these are rich, I'd hate to see the poor ones'.
