Camping - in the Lake District

it's got everything that kids want... lakes to throw stones into and fields to run around in..

I have heard of a place in Spain which does family adventure holidays. Great reports but all I can remember is that it was near Granada.

I've been to annecy and enjoyed it but found it expensive.
We stayed at our friend's chalet in Slovakia and found that we got more for our money, meaning we could do something every day rather than every other day.

yes Annecy is expensive so i wouldnt stay there, i would go somehwere like Grand bornand or there are a couple of other little villages where i reckon its cheaper, the thing is driving in that scenery is exhilerating too so i wouldnt mind staying 20 mins away from the activities

We did one a few years ago with Acorn Adventures. Two day canoe trip down the Ardeche was good fun.
