Just thought I'd share that with you.

Beers on a school night - the joys of being a student.

What you drinking?

Meths or 'bow are probably better for you than builder's tea.

Trying a winterfest dark wheat beer, 4 for the price of 3 from M&S. Delicious, aromatic and super malty. Lovely stuff.

Erdinger was all they had on tap at the last hotel. Hard life but someone had to abuse the expenses.

Different hotel now with a Mexican cocktail bar next door. 56CHF of a jug of cocktail. Proper expense abuse.

Back in the hotel room now as I am sick of fruit juice with a splash of spirits.

Where are you this time, WCA? Still sucking in the delights of life as a business traveller? Not been on my travels for a month or two. Need to get back to Eastern Europe though, my drinks cabinet is getting a little low!

Switzerland (again). Duty Free in Basel airport is more expensive that booze in the UK supermarket. Even chocolate is expensive here, Toblerone is 9 Euro for 400gm bar in Basel Airport or £9 for 3*400gm in Gatwick airport.

I just picked up a crate of Leffe Bière de Noël from the supermaket.

I picked up a couple of bottles last weekend and was disapointed to have to go back to Leffe bruin when they ran out Sunday.

If you can find it I highly recommend it.

Just polished off a brisk road ride with a couple of Illys and a brace of Leffe Radieuse at the cafe in our village. Yum.

RichPenny, it's just been released for Xmas as it is every year and it's fan****ingtastic. Get some.

It's almost on a par with Leffe Vieille Cuvee 😮

Autumn is upon us, therefore the season of dark, full bodied beers is here.

Old Peculiar will be the tipple of choice tonight, maybe with a Tullamore Dew nightcap.
