no not porn, but sold a phone on ebay, before i send it, how can i make sure details of websites visited (online banking especially) are not stored on the phone?
is it the same priciple as a pc, ie the hd (or micro sdcard)? or if it is stored elsewhere where?
its an lg renoir if that helps, only used for wireless browsing and calls can delete the contacts ok, will a "restore to factory settings" do it?
i dont want to damage it in anyway......
Take the SD card out and keep it. In the settings of the phone there will be an option to reset the phone to factory defaults.
so if i take out the sim card, and format the sd card, and post the phone they wont be able to view history or get any personal info, from the phone memory?
(will reset factory settings too)
