Has anyone done the Intra UK transfer test and if so what was it like to do, how did you prepare for it (home study, course etc).

Nipper, I can't help you, but there is some demand for English qualified sols in scotland anyway. Obviously that depends a bit on which fields of law you specialise in...

How long have you been a solicitor?
I don't know about the test, but if you were practicing law in England thirty years ago you'll probably be fine up here 🙂

10yrs pqe and I've pinged off my cv to a recruitment consultant about a job up near Inverness today.

My Scottish solicitor when I moved up had moved from England where he was also a solicitor, he said it was pretty straightforward as I recall. It's nice up near Inverness.
