After 16 years I just canceled my AOL account
Back in the day it was about the only way to get online from any phone line in most countries - so great for the all traveling I was doing. Meant to cancel years ago, never got round to it. Finally found the secret method of canceling today. I feel like a cup of tea now.

It's a bit embarrassing having to sacrifice a goat to Baal in this day and age,isn't it?

AOL are the sharks tis true
they make it bloody hard to cancel your account, which i gave up on a few times in the past. today, eureka, I found the cancel link. i'm free, though the sound of the 9.6 modem on dial-up from Columbia etc cheered the soul in the dark days.
AOL must be resonsible for half the cd's in landfill...
