Dedicated to Britain's scientific and engineering endeavours.

A bicycle on one, DNA on another, Genetic cloned dolly the Sheep, the computer, A lightbulb.
Maybe one or all had historical views, unacceptable hundreds of years into their future, but their achievements cannot be denied, or you'd have to boycott penicillin or the telephone or something such and thats never gong to happen.

Celebrate the achievements. Show what this supposedly racist country has brought to the world.

How about Anthony Johnson the 1st black slave owner. That should cause some confusion

How many empty plinths do we expect? Not enough to put up a statue of everyone who's died unnecessarily because of coronavirus, but maybe enough to put up a statue of every critical worker that has? We'll be able to recognise them as they'll be the ones with no PPE

I would also like to see Fred Dibnah statue on a massive high plinth,

Not a shining beacon in the fight for gender equality!

Although I'm partial to a naked man draped in a bedsheet, I think we should replace Hume on the high street in Edinburgh with Boris (fully clothed). We could then roll Boris down the mound, Leith Walk and into the docks as part of the festival.

I know that 😉 and its a minefield, so Im not being led in 😆

So I'll say this is the UK, not Germany, nor Italy(Giovanni Fontana) Nor Scottish even, and just put up a model of The Hobby Horse. No pedals, just wheels and a frame to hang them on.

Put all the street art statues on the plinths so it clears them from blocking the pavements.

Way better than a slave trading Tory MP
