That's a tad old as isn't the population now 70 million?

The figures for the armed forces are probably questionable too.

it's just a bunch of made up numbers, population is 65million, retired population is 10 million. I doubt any figure is remotely accurate. but it is the population that is obviously wrong it kills the joke before it even gets gong.
