for a huge number of reasons i have just about had it with my current job and am thinking about walking out. only been there a few months but not happy in the slightest. Just wondering, alot of jobs seem to ask for reference from last job. I have no faith in my current boss to write a non-bitchy reference. I can get references from my previous employer just don't want to have anything to do with current job once i walk.

Me too, the same conundrum. At least I will try to explain why (I asked for my wages to be paid as they were 2 days late on Saturday and on Monday got fired, hmmmm).
Don't do it. I resigned last September and I'm still out of work 🙁
Employers can't give a negative references AFAIK. They can refuse to give a reference.
