Anyone been? Just bought myself a ticket in a moment of madness to spend 3 weeks there in August. Shall have a spell surfing at Punta Roca. Apart from that any tips on where to go/what to do?

Passed through but only spent 2 nights there, in San Salvador. Supposed to be great surfing and some good hiking. SS didn't look like a particularly charming city, it has to be said. Might have stayed longer for a look around, but I only had a few days on my visa. Enjoy your trip - sure it will be an adventure.
