Yes, because I'm not complaining about something I have the power to change. 😉

TBH it's now Real who are doing most of the play-acting. Albiol just threw himself on the floor there. He's twice the size of Messi ffs. 🙄

hopefully it will be spectacle but yes only a madman would think that Barca would not be the favourites but any team with Messi in would be the favourites he is some player

You do know he's been dead a few years! Are you Spain's answer to Loddrick?

If I win a euromillions multi-multi rollover I'm buying Palace and Messi and we're going to win the Championship and the Premier League before I run out of dosh. I think i can save a few quid as he can wear the same shirt.

Given the state that the previous yanks and Hodgson left us in, where we are now feels like we have won 10 CL's at once. So there ain't no misery on the red half of Merseyside these days, regardless of what happens up the road.

Any chance we could ignore him? A curious but pleasing harmony had broken out between all us faux fans. It would be nice to keep it that way.

You really, really do talk some crap sometimes, don't you?

This season has been an abject failure for Liverpool FC. Much like the last one. That we are now back on track and playing well, is the least to be expected. Hoping for a Europa League place at best is way below where we should be. In contention for the league title is where we should be, and we haven't bin good enough on that score for far too long.

Where we are now is 6th place and potless again. That is rubbish. If you're satisfied with that, then you really can't be much of a fayn...

Don't watch too much Spanish football, do you? It's the main reason I can't.

I take it you don't watch the English premier league for the same reason then?. The cheating in British football is every bit as bad as spanish football in my opinion.

For what it's worth, I thought it was an intriguing game, lots of personal battles and interesting to see some of the tactics unfolding during the game. Pepe should not have been sent off for that challenge, but he was a victim of the fact he is usually a dirty bastard.

I for one would love to see teams playing the ball out of defence in this country, the way Barca can. My heart would be in my mouth if any of my teams full backs got a ball facing their own goal, and an opposition player bearing down on them, doesn't seem to bother this lot at all.

And Messi is just an absolute colossus of a talent.

No, definitely not, just like everyone else up here, we're all plastic fans you know?

At one stage we were possibly heading for administration, hovering above the drop zone and crap teams were relishing coming to Anfield to get at us, so you'll have to excuse me for not sharing your pessimism.

Scousers eh? the eternal optimists god love 'em.

Liverpool have had another shocker of a season, you can't dress it up as anything else. Anyhow the fizzy pop league is where it's at, as a Norwich suppoter I have had an awesome season and even if we don't keep hold of 2nd we have achieved more than any of us expected. 🙂

Liverpool have had a transitional season. It started as possibly the worst season in the history of the club when everything is considered. Now, it is indeed like winning 10 CL's all at once - well at least 5 anyway.

The team now have owners who want to invest in the squad, players who want to play their hearts out and one of the best managers out there - what's not to be happy about?

not winning anything, not playing in champions league next year, poor european run
Promising for the future possibly/probably but still some way behind the best premier league teams never mind European. Job started but some seasons from done. Given Chelsea and Man Cit's money and Man u position hard to see a vast inprovement next year - Champions league qualification a good reult for 11/12? Good cup run /win?
One day Man u will slip from the top as well but at least they were great in my lifetime and i would have taken half of what we have achieved ,if you offered me it, in the 80's tbh.
Personaly I would rather see a team with history and tradition like Liverpool achieve success than money teams like Chelsea or City.

Spoken with the bias of a true Barça fan. 😉

Line of the century. The boy, for he is 12, deserves a prize for that one. 😀
The solution really is to ignore him, not one single reply.
