Apparently there's helicopters flying above Cockburn St and riot police with dogs everywhere in that local, anyone know what's going on.
Someone is on a roof according to Twitter.

Apparently the gunman is now naked.
He is also apparently mental and escaped from the royal edinburgh hospital if you trust the rumours.

I was biking up to meet some friends in town and the the helicopter appeared a few minutes after I was caught short down by Holyrood. I got a little paranoid there for a moment.
