I'm in Edinburgh today, where's a good place to get a decent pie?

Piemaker on south bridge for takeaway, if they have any steak and ale specials left. The rest aint so great.

Excellent pies of all descriptions can be had in Peebles, but it's a bit out the way...

Hmm, Crombies does some ok ones but there are better available along at the butcher in stockbridge.

Yes but seems like TBC is a pie expert in his spare time.

Stocky is a good hang-out, nice wander along the water to teh modern art galleries too.

Cheers guys, my meeting turned into a late lunch and tour of premises and no pie was on the menu ๐Ÿ™

There's a butcher called Bains in Stenhouse who make the nicest Scotch pies in the city. Or if you want a pie in a pub go to Thomsons on Morrison St. Yummm.

I'll second Bains but the bridies are even better as they have onion in too.

Stephen's steak bridies if you are in the Rosyth/Inverkeithing area.
