Recently bought a ccdb air off ebay. Listing said all in good working order. When i got it and fitted it, it sounded awful. Seller offered to refund £105, the price of a service. Shock went to TF tuned who said it needed an extra £100 (total £216) spending as it needed several parts replacing. Ebay seller said to return for a full refund which i have done.
The Seller now has it re advertised on ebay starting at £89.99. Its listed as spares but he has stated that it just needs a service which he knows isnt true as i told him and also included the paperwork from TF when i returned it.
Is this a reportable infringement of ebay rules? Should i be bothered?? Just seems unfair that hes trying to palm it off on someone when he knows it needs twice the money spending on it than hes saying in the ad.

did you leave feedback? I bought a reverb a few weeks ago which was described as excellent working order. Turned out to be a load of rubbish. Checked his sold items (all his feedback was private) and saw he had already sold it twice. I am tempted to leave feedback stating what it was and it was rubbish so it cant be hidden to stop a 4th person buying it.
That's rubbish tbh.
Ebay are unapproachable now but they do still sometimes act, I've had some surprisingly good service from them both as buyer and seller... I think most folks assume there's no point just because they go out of their way to be hard to speak to

Not left feedback yet. Seems i cant now as its been returned for a refund. I guess hes hoping to sell it now and get feedback before it goes off to be serviced by the new owner.
eBay's full of chancers unfortunately. A pair of forks I returned with completely worn stanchions were soon back up for sale again, albeit with some minor added comments about marks on the stanchions. I just don't get how some people operate. Never got my return postage back either..
When I returned the Reverb ebay provided me with a label which I assume was billed to the seller.

I honestly couldn't tell you, a service is usually about 100 but there's a chance some parts might need replacing in which case it would cost slightly more.
