Prompted by the other thread about driving across Europe.
If i buy an E Vignette do i still need the sticker? Its linked to your reg plate but it looks like they may also send out a sticker? I've left it a bit late as we travel later this week.
Or have i missed the boat and need to buy one when i get there?
I thought you just register and pay and the rest is automatic (linked to vehicle reg) as it is activated immediately
Just bought one for a trip at the start of Sept - after checkout it gives the option to print out your receipt etc, but also says you don't have to do anything as it picks up the reg plate.
(noticed Google throws up a few sites offering e-vignettes, we went through what looks to be official gov site here: https://via.admin.ch/shop/dashboard)

Just works from ANPR, works fine, did it last year.
