Looking for software to convert DVDs to iPad format. There seem to be various software out there, but they either convert only short (5min) pieces or you have to pay. I don't mind if the software works, but I haven't seen any reviews.
Any thoughts?

Otherwise, Handbrake is free and will do what you want - but it seems to be a more manual process.
are you a mac user? use handbrake
I can really recommend MacX ripper and converter software, takes around 20mins to rip a film. You have to pay but it's worth it and handles encrypted discs
Handbrake FTW. Not that manual, pop in dvd, choose ipad preset, press go!
Handbrake +1
Cheers. Forgot to say it's pc. I tried handbrake, I must have done something wrong. I had only 45 mins and it was part scrambled!
