I had a cheap-ish 90 litre gelert duffle bag for the last 3 or 4 years, but the tarp fabric got ripped last week. It gets chucked int he car, check onto planes and generally not looked after. I like the fact that I can pack it in a case when I travel to the US or wherever and then bring it home full of goodies.

Anyway, I thought I'd try the North Face base camp this time, but Ortleib, Haglöfs and others seem to do something similar and I wondered if there were any opinions on the subject around these parts...

Mountain Equipment often very cheap @ Cotswold. Mine has been skiing, Alpes, Korea, and is still ok
